Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using pdfRelay, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. The Service

pdfRelay provides an API for converting HTML to PDF documents. We offer free and paid tiers with different usage limits. We reserve the right to modify features, pricing, and limits with 30 days notice for paid customers.

3. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you submit. You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights. We do not review, monitor, or claim ownership of the HTML or PDFs processed through the service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or usage quotas
• Reverse-engineer the PDF rendering engine
• Resell access to the API without written permission
• Submit content designed to exploit or attack the service

5. Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. You can cancel at any time and retain access through the end of the billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Test mode conversions are always free and unlimited.

6. Uptime & Liability

We aim for 99.9% uptime on paid plans but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The service is provided “as is” without warranties. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the previous 12 months.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. On termination, your data is retained for 30 days before deletion.
